Recommended Age Group : 8 - 12 Years
●We will learn the definitions of anger.
●We will discuss the purpose and physiological effects of anger and learn about three steps to effectively control our anger.
●We will learn and practice a deep breathing technique called "Dinosaur's ●Breath" that will help students calm down when they are angry.
Setting:
●A quiet place
Materials:
●A comfortable chair or mat
●First of all, we will teach our participants how to reduce their anger with a guided relaxation exercise.
●Then, we will start with simple, fun breathing exercises in a calm and peaceful environment.
●We will have a guided relaxation activity using dinosaur themes.
●Finally, each of our students will share how they visualized "angry dinosaurs".
