About This Class

Time to get our hands dirty in the kitchen! Join us as we bake the best tasting cake, with the black and white stripes of a zebra. Roll up your sleeves. We're baking our way to the safari!

Duration: 45 Minutes

Recommended Age Group : 8 - 12 Years

In this class, we will learn:




  • Mindfulness through cooking

  • How to read recipes

  • How to measure ingredients

  • Fine motor skills

Equipment you will need for this class:




  • Oven

  • Cake tin (baton or round)

  • Whisk

  • 2 mixing bowls

  • Spatula 

  • Spoon



  • Materials you will need for this class:

  • Egg

  • Granulated sugar

  • Milk

  • Liquid oil

  • Flour

  • Baking powder and vanilla

  • Cocoa

In this class we will:




  • Introduce the recipe

  • Review our ingredients

  • Prepare the batter

  • Bake our cake!

The cake will cook in about 40 minutes. Wait for it to cool before removing it from the cake tin!
